Thrive Digital are thrilled to be supporting the Open to Export Action Plan Competition this year. CEO Emil Stickland will be part of an expert panel of judges at the competitions showcase final event at the Swiss Embassy in November. Other supporters include Bibby Financial Services and the Institute of Export & International Trade.

The competition gives entrants the chance to gain recognition for their business and pitch to win a fabulous package of prizes geared towards accelerating business growth overseas. Prizes include a £3000 cash prize, 2 places on an Institute of Export public training course worth £700 and a year’s free membership as well as a consultancy from Thrive Digital. Previous winners include a record and clothing label, a brewery and a digital design company who specialise in education.

Open to Export is a free online information service created by The Institute of Export & International Trade, it is dedicated to helping small UK businesses prepare to expand and export internationally.

The Export Action Plan is an online tool which takes businesses through 5 key steps to export success by asking you to complete tasks and set actions. Once you have completed the steps, an action plan is generated a great tool for a more productive journey to exporting. The competition is open to all small businesses who are looking to enter new markets following from the UK’s exit from the EU and the deadline to submit your Action Plan is 29th September 2017.
